PostSubject: Return of the King    Thu Oct 10, 2013 4:59 am

They marched through the pale white sands of Hueco Mundo with black and gold banners of the Old King. They had been marching for decades, maybe centuries now, on a quest with no end on the demand of the King whom one day, after a Great Siege, decided that they gone far enough and it was time to return to the centre of the Hollow World, time to return to their fortress that was Los Noches, time to come home. On there way back they passed smaller city states and colonies of Arrancars and Menos; their brethren that they had conquered through words and swords.

They had come to respect the King and accept him as their ruler, one that cared about them enough to allow them a place in his Empire. Outside their territories they hung proud black flags with golden threads. Each collection of Hollows they passed, they would greet and stay with them for a while; not too long as to overstay their welcome but long enough to rest their weary legs and rejoice in the boons the King received. They didn't always get a lot but whatever they were given was shared by the King and the troops. Keeping them happy kept them civil and lowered the need for displays of power. These polished and tested veterans were happy when the King finally told them it was time to return. They had been traveling the expanse of Hueco Mundo for at least 500 years in order to establish the Empire of Hueco Mundo. How could one claim to be the ruler of all the Realm if they have never stepped beyond the kingdom's gate?

The Royal Arrancar Army when it first started began with only 10 but now they had at least 1000 men and women. Each member came from different portion of realm and they each served the King well. They arrived over a mountain of sand and the King, whom was covered in a black and gold clock to defend him from the desert sandstorms that occasionally came without warning, raised his right hand. He was in front his army, banner carriers, and subjects. His hand silently remained there and every single member of the troupe stopped. There was a clatter of metal that fell silent and no one moved. The winds blew and picked up sand. The King marched a head of his men while they remained still awaiting a commands from their liege. He looked over the mount and he could see Los Noches in all its glory. It seemed different but he still felt a bit of nostalgia. The moon shimmered above the white building.

"I've returned..." he said.

He turned to his men and then raised his hand then squeezed it into a fist. They once again began to march. It would be a couple days before they would return to Los Noches from the mount and the King had no idea what to expect but he knew that he would reclaim what was his by any means necessary but he hope it wouldn't come to that. He hoped that someone in there would remember him, the Forgotten King who ruled for 1000 years and left for a Divine Reason.

So they marched back home. They marched on Los Noches.

They marched for 72 hours until they were at that large white outer wall of Los Noches, the Night Castle. It was just as Apollo remembered it; he wondered what forces built this Castle. It was there before he arrived nearly 2000 years prior and it housed countless Arrancars like him with an assortment of abilities. He was powerful and charismatic enough to take over the Castle almost immediately after his arrival with the help of the Lesser Arrancar that were being oppressed by the decadent Espada. They made the many serve the few and for what? Protection? Such ideals cause enslavement and subjugation, cause disdain and mistrust, and breeds hatred and division. He knew that first hand as a slave to the decadence of Egypt.

The Lord Protector of Hueco Mundo knelled in the dead sands of his Kingdom. He lowered his head and with his right hand picked up some sand in his palm, turning his hand slowly into a fist and allowing the sand to funnel through his palm, letting a cool wind carry the white sand back into the bleak expanse of the dead land. It's beauty was in its ugliness, the fact that anything could live or strive out here was a testament to the perseverance of his new people. He stood up slowly and turned to his brave warriors that waited his command. They looked on at him with stone faces and wondering eyes, awaiting orders.

"Fire on my command, Fraccion." ordered Apollo as he moved to the center of his warriors. They spread around him in a half circle, half moon like shape and began to charge their glorious red Death Zeroes at the wall. He instantaneously fired his own Golden Cero at a single point and the red ceroes followed. They destroyed a large portion of the wall; it was vaporized and crumbled to dust. A large gaping hall was left leading to a corridor.

Apollo walked into the corridor and into Los Noches. He had finally come home. He had used this method to alert the current Tenants that the Land Lord had come home to get his dues.
